My husband has just completed 7 weeks/35 sessions of radiotherapy on his neck following a neck dissection. This cream along with the cooling gel has been amazing throughout. He had some redness and slight peeling around week 5 but NO skin breakage whatsoever. Very little soreness or discomfort. Would highly recommend.
After radiation I had very severe dry skin (looked like dermatitis) and itchy but not burnt. R1 helped to cool the skin and R2 helped to soothe and hydrate the skin. I used them for 4 weeks and my skin completely cleared up. I would recommend these products are used together. R1 needs to be kept cool (probably in the fridge) and R2 applied once R1 has dried in skin. I gave 4 stars because I would have liked option of smaller containers to take to work / carry through airports.
Used both of these during recent radiotherapy (15 sessions) and skin is perfect a week post end of treatment. Have recommended to another lady about to start radiotherapy. My clinical team were aware of it and had used it in patients previously and were impressed by it. While every individual is different, from my perspective I would highly recommend using this during and after radiotherapy.
Have been using this system for past 3 weeks whilst having radiotherapy, the Oncology team wanted to know what I was using as skin beautiful and only slightly flushed.
Explained what was being used, I am still using the cream and will continue for at least 2 weeks post radiotherapy finishing.
I bought this for my husband as he had discomfort and soreness after radiation treatment for prostate cancer. He tells me it is very effective, much better than other creams he has used, stops soreness caused by friction from underwear and and only needs small amounts to be effective. I will be buying more for him. Many thanks.
